If you want to be a volunteer in the Amazon, you’ve come to the right place. Amazon Lifesavers Ministry organizes more than 20 short-term mission trips every year, bringing together people of all ages and professions to experience the joy of serving the river dwellers who live in our vast Amazon region. The mission trips are made up of groups of close to 30 people who are taken by boat to different riverside and indigenous communities. For 10 days the volunteers live on a boat, where everyone sleeps in hammocks and can contemplate God’s amazing creation up close. It’s hard to fully explain this experience. You’ll just have to come and try it for yourself. We’re sure the trip will change your life.

Every year we receive people from different churches, universities and institutions that want to bring groups to experience serving others in a very challenging place.

If you're a pastor or a mission trip leader in a university, we encourage you to form a group of 25 to 28 people and plan a mission trip to our region.

For more information, contact us by e-mail or whatsapp and we will be happy to assist you with everything you need to make this trip possible!
