There are many opportunities for college students to participate in this project. Housing is provided at the base or on our boats – depending on the position. The student must provide for their visa, travel to/from Brazil, for food and personal needs. $100/mo will cover food and personal needs. Due to visa restrictions, SM’s are only allowed to stay for six months.

Current Opportunities:
1. Bible Workers:
Required:
- Dedicated to the Lord’s work
- Fluent in Portuguese (would consider Spanish-speaker)
- Willing to live on a boat and work in the jungle
- Willing to give Bible studies, help with evangelistic meetings, pathfinders, Vacation Bible School, and other such activities.
Preferable:
- Vegetarian Cooking experience helpful
2. General Mechanic:
Required:
- Dedicated to the Lord’s work
- Ability to upkeep various forms of transportation & equipment (boats, cars, lawnmowers, etc.)
Preferable:
- Experience in boat maintenance and upkeep
- Experience with diesel engines extremely helpful
4. Mission Family Helper:
Required:
- Dedicated to the Lord’s work
- Willing to help cook, clean, babysit, and assist with homeschool
- Willing to live on a boat at times
Preferable:
- Vegan cooking experience helpful
- Experience with children
